Goals & Objectives

Goal: FCI Caring's "Serving Underfunded Seniors" campaign aims to raise funds to enhance access to vital care and services for underfunded seniors in our community, helping them age with dignity and independence. Who We Help: This campaign focuses on seniors who lack sufficient funding for basic care services that are crucial for their daily living and well-being. These include individuals who are low-income, isolated, or without adequate family support, spanning across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds in San Diego County. Use of Funds: The funds raised will be directly applied to: 1. Subsidizing Essential Care Services: Covering costs for in-home care, medical equipment, and necessary modifications to homes to ensure they are safe and accessible. 2. Expanding Program Reach: Increasing our capacity to serve more seniors by hiring additional skilled care coordinators. 3. Developing Community Partnerships: Enhancing collaboration with local health providers and community organizations to offer comprehensive support and resources. Outcome Objectives: Increase in Service Capacity: Serve an additional 100 seniors annually. Improved Quality of Life: 90% of program participants will report better access to needed services and decreased feelings of isolation. Enhanced Safety and Mobility: At least 50 homes adapted for safer living conditions for seniors with mobility issues.
